Default Won't start of fuel and oil filter change - 2L RHR Diesel Engine '08 407

Just did an oil, oil filter and fuel filter change (including new o-rings for both filter housings) on our newly acquired '08 407 2L RHR Diesel Engine, now the thing kicks over but does not start.

Is there a procedure I am supposed to follow after a fuel filter change to bring the engine to life? I am assming that's where my problem is.

There should be a hand pump primer connected to the filter housing. You should be able to see fuel in the clear sections of the fuel line running toward the passenger side of the engine. Use the hand pump to fill the filter canister and the fuel line. You don't need to bleed the air out manually.

Now that you mention it and I see it in the video, how obvious is it? I did not do it. Will give it a go when I get home. Thanks guys.
