Peugeot 407 throttle body?

I too need a throttle body for a 2006 407 with the 2.2L petrol. I get no response from the throttle, and when I go through the pairing routing above it sounds like the servo is driving, but the valve doesn't move. I haven't openned it up yet, but I suspect the same stripped gears.

Anyone know of the best place to get these. Happy with second hand. Just need to get back on the road.

Well, I got a new throttle body for my 2.2L pertrol. The previous one had stripped the gears just like in the photos earlier in this thread.

After some delays from TNT getting it delivered, I have installed, but it is surging up and down on idle, and going to limp mode. It would appear that the reprogramming of the throttle body (30s on, 30s off, 30s on, 30s off, on, throttle to the floor slowly then off, then start) isn't working for me. I have tried another couple of ones from the interwebs (15s on, 15off, etc etc etc).

Engine warning light is on (no wonder).

If I gently bring the throttle on after starting I can get the revs up to 3-4000 and it runs fine. As soon as you back off though it goes down to stall and then either stops completely, or starts surging again in limp mode.

Any ideas on how to reset the ECU. At this stage I don't have an ODBC setup, so wanting to do via magic sequence if there is one.

Any ideas, or do I have to give in and buy the software and dongle?

Also, I left it overnight with the battery off to try a reset that way and didn't seem to help any.
