Default 2015 Peugeot 308 Allure Premium Touring - Missing leather head rests

I recently replaced my 307 which served us very well for many years. I went for Mistral Nappa leather advertised with pictures which show very attractive full leather on all parts of the seats.

Unfortunately, the vehicle was delivered with all leather except the front head rests. Which seems rather odd to me.

The dealer has told me this is how they are all delivered, and I'm not entirely satisfied with that answer.
Has anyone else had a similar experience?

If it's not the same as the brochure or the test car you drove. Then you have a case against the dealer with consumer affairs. Or even if the Salesperson person told you "it has matching leather headrests" because it's an express warranty.

They are "all like that" is not a good enough explanation IMO.

I have most brochures, but not the 2015 P308 one. Some state in the fine print
Please consult your Dealer for definitive colour and trim/upholstery details.
There's more fine print about differences from the brochure on the back page. The photos don't look to be all Australian.

I dug up the late 2014 edition. It says in the small text
you should not rely solely on the information provided in this brochure. Dealers are not agents of Peugeot Automobiles
So why send you to them (above) for details?

In other words, they are giving themselves a clause to let themselves off the hook in a variety of scenarios. I'd check it out with consumer affairs regardless.

Regardless what is in the fine print . The consumer laws rely on "reasonable person" definition.

FFS if looking at an image and expecting to get what is shown isn't reasonable. What is ?

Unless the image displays clearly states "overseas model shown" or similar.

I would think most cars headrests are covered in man made leather substitute for longevity against greasy scalp damage. Full leather invariably means the skin contact points, excluding head rests. Unless yours are a mismatched colour?

    Congratulations on the new car.

If you are not happy with the dealer's response, then you should contact Peugeot Australia.

All their contact options are listed here.

The Press Kit mentions the optional leather seats. It states:
Mistral Nappa Club Leather appointed seats and Trim*

*Leather appointed seating includes other materials on selected areas

Being 'restraints' as opposed to headrests may be their 'out'.
