Hi drew, congrats on the move, I'm impressed with your dedication to your 404!
It could be worth joining the UK French car forum for contacts, they are mostly a very friendly and helpful bunch.

Dean Hunter and his son have a lot of stuff and he owns a restorable RHD 404 Cabriolet too: PEUGEOT PARTS SPECIALISTS.

Also, join the Club Peugeot UK forum and ask there.

Thanks Drew! Whereabouts in the UK are you located? Do you have a photo of the car, and what is the number plate? Did you pay for a "period-correct" one?

Beautiful car, is that an XN2 motor? If it is, who's been helping you with the service of that Kugelfischer system
I considered it once for my 404 but there is hardly any people who know how to work on it here in South Africa and the
one guy that knows it well is not keen on servicing them. Did you fit Peugeot 504 drums. I've always wanted to do that so that I can have more options for rims but I thought it would hurt the car

It is a xn2 kf motor but I have efi the engine as you can see the custom intake manifold. I have also put in 505 lsd hypoid with a disc brake rear. The front brakes are bmw mini vented rotors with Mazda rx7 4 pot calipers
Still doing a lot of sorting out but has a really smooth torque curve from around 2000rpm

Send me your email address and I'll give you access to a Dropbox file of mine that has the 404 factory KF workshop manual in it. The 404 KF system is dead simple, the 504 slightly more complicated.
