Default 2010 308 Touring 2.0Hdi Front Brakes replacement

Hi, I have the front brake shudder that some people report in this model, car has 36K on it and front discs have already been machined once but it came back after a while.
So now down to min thickness and looking to replace discs and pads, can do it myself no probs.
    Prices so far :
    LPR $250
    Valeo $290
    Genuine $430
Anyone have any thoughts/experience with different brands/recommendations ?
    Cheers,
    Andrew

    Try a RDA distributor

RDA Brakes + EBC Brakes, The Big Brakes Company. | Home

And if it chopped a set discs in 36k you may be able source "heavy duty" disks.

Quinton Hazell are readily available also (EAI etc etc), at that price level, and I have always used them.

    Just to update,
I ended up going with DBA T2 Street Series Rotors and Remsa pads from GSL Rallysport/Brakes Direct.
Cost was about the same as the genuine items incl shipping.
The rotors are made to order in Australia and took about 3 weeks from ordering to delivery. They are quite a bit thicker, the ventilated groove is narrower than originals.
    All went together no problems.
Have only driven the car for a couple of days, but so far so good, they are not quite as touchy or sensitive as the originals (which were a bit too much at times I thought) but still very good.
Hopefully less dust, longer lasting and no shudder !
