    Default My 2004 206 GTI 138

Thought I would start a thread about my car and to keep up to date on what im doing with it.

So i only bought the car recently as i was after a smaller car for around town and work and came across the pug...

For my budget i didnt expect much but stumbled across it out the back of a large dealer that just traded it and got it for what they paid for it...apart from the problems its got i love the car.

    Heres a few pics

    Thanks for reading

So today I ended up fitting a flowmaster exhaust system to give a bit more of a deeper note,

Nice and quiet until 3,000rpm then its got a nice deep note,

Next on the list is a new cold air intake or modify the factory setup?

One thing im having trouble with is finding some new wheels that fit....

Im not too familiar with the gti set up . The 180 was very well done . But its fun to play around .. you might not gain ( not sure ) but you will get a nicer throttle sound ..

Well the 206 is looking a bit bruised and battered....

Driving home from work yesterday and a van decided to change lanes into the passenger side of my car with enough force that it spun the car 180 and mounted a large gutter and finally coming to rest against a pole...

At first i thought the damage was mainly on the panels, door, bonnet but i could smell burning oil....

Got underneath and found the sump is cracked and alot of bent components... plus alot of dash warning lights including the airbag light??

Car is getting assesed as the crash shop wont even waste time quoting it

Yeah should all work out alright, insurance company have been extremely helpful and making things easy for me which is rare these days,

I apparently get to keep the car if i pay them the salvage value of $480.. so ill probably fix it up for some light rally use
