    Default Cooling system p 407 2.0hdi

    Hi,i wanna change all antifreeze from car it is p 407 2.0 hdi rhr engine and now can someone help me with this.As far i know i will drain my antifreeze by unpluging the bottom pipe from the radiator,put it back again and start pouring new antifreeze mixture (50/50).With this i need help is there any COOLING SYSTEM BLEEDING VALVE for this engine(pics would be great).What is full cooling system capacity for this engine and which antifreeze is the best to use???Please HELP!!!

    You can buy the factory approved stuff in Europe - G33® | Glysantin®

    Here is a cooling system diagram copied from a 2005 Citroen manual. I expect the 407 will be the same.

    There are 3 bleed locations. An auto gearbox will also be cooled.

    There are 3 bleed locations. An auto gearbox will also be cooled.
    Did not find any of this bleeding locations in may car,so maybi it is diferent engine have you pics for RHR engine,someone says that this engine is self bleeding is it possible.

    The cooling system for RHR is found at pages 142 to 151 where there are many illustrations and the method to be used. There are diagrams for the manual/auto at p144, showing vis de purge locations.
