Default Peugeot 307 2005 1.6 Hdi Hatch - Glow Plug Relay

    Hi all,

can anyone direct me to the location of the Glow Plug Relay in a 2005 Peugeot 307 with a 1.6 Hdi engine? It should be in there somewhere...

    It's part number is
598140 - I can find it on Servicebox - but not in my car!

OTTOMH NSF, sort of towards the NS headlight back.

You've researched what it looks like? Plug the part number into Fleabay.

NS - near side? Is that passenger's side or driver's side?

There appears to be different variants - some are just relays, others seem to be more significant (most likely a transistor or solid-state relay with a large heatsink). I want to test the output to determine whether or not my plugs are faulty. I have a P1351 fault set.

    Thanks,

    Ewan

Yeah I believe it should be behind the passengers headlight and look like this, however I'm not sure which one.

It is the lower of the 2 in Chris's pic.
Keep in mind that the glow plugs are connected in pairs to the glow plug relay. Planet may report glow plug or relay fault when in reality it is just a single glow plug open circuit. Can be measured at the glow plug relay connector or at the glow plug themselves.

Well, it's the square blocky one! If you mentally stand the picture up properly it's the higher unit.
