Default Peugeot 504 Oil Filters - Purflux LS152B - where to buy?

    Hi all

Been chasing these for a while now. They seem to be getting rare. I ordered some Valeo ones the other day, but they are no where near as big as the Purflux oil filters.

Anyone know of a secret source?

Have you tried Ebay UK or France? just type the Number in. Freight should not be a big deal.

The original filter for the 504 diesel was the LS127 which was replaced by the LS152B in 2011. Purflux now shows the LS867B as suitable for a 504 diesel. No idea how rare that is but might be worth a try.

If you log onto the Purflux online catalogue, it's possible to search by application, i.e. make, model and engine type. You can find out if they supply a filter for a wide range of vehicles.

Oddly, if you do a search by make and model, XN1 504s don't come up, and XN2s only show an air filter. On the other hand,
    XN1 505s show LS867B.

The German company named "Der Franzose" sell anything you like related to French cars. They have a comprehensive internet site. A lot of good quality reproduction parts but pricy. Alternative is, just get a replacement RYCO filter. They will do the job.

French Connection or EAI stock purflux. The only filter worth using on Peugeots.

After much research I now use Ryco Z154 or Supercheap Auto SCO154 - good old common as muck Commodore V6 @ $8 or $7 respectively. Great performance and oil pressure.

Good to know. I bought some Purflux oil filters recently for the 2L D9 406 at $8 each which I thought was good value.
