For $880 I can get two front tires for the RCZ. With no change

Looks like a nice machine though.

Won't be doing that now as it has been sold.
I look forward to finding out who to.

Didn't think it would last long. Who said that people aren't interested in old Pugs?

It was a chance of a lifetime I'd reckon Graham. If the weather's fine I'll see if it's still there tomorrow as I need to check out Merc parts; whilst sold, it could still be there awaiting pick up.

Exactly. Sadly, I remember seeing one or two very nice 404s at the wreckers over recent years that were being stripped.

I'd reckon that it has been picked up at the bargain price by an AFer!

With my notification that it was coming up for sale on the 2nd July 2015 and "andrepug" advising that Pick A Part operate a webpage of vehicles on sale, with over 100 views surely a AF picked it up.

So, who is going to own up that they picked up a bargain?

It was still there today but not available because it was sold; boy were they busy today with all that you can carry for $50!

    Best regards,

    John

I don't know much about Poogos myself but after seeing first-hand the tremendous effort by my man Dano, I would have to say that the above wagon would make an excellent resto project lets hope it surfaces on AF soon. 69 404 restoration

well....what a cute wagon...I bought this one for a mate who wanted a classic wagon....if he doesn't like it I will pass it on..
I was going to flat tray it home but after a few cold ones and another mate in my ear we set off to pick her up & drive home today...
I expected to need a tilt tray but she fired up immediately and drove like a charm all the way home to Main Ridge (Mornington Peninsula)
    roughly a 1 1/2 hr drive...maybe 2 hrs!! didn't put a foot wrong
There seem to be minor things to attend to...and small bits of rust so still a project...
came with spares including a new throttle cable and a brand new Alpine car cd/radio...score
    photos to come...Vin to come

    Super, thanks!

It's the 129th Australian 404 wagon/sedan/ute in the Register. There are also 7 404C models in AUS that I have registered.

yes...I'm thinning out quite a few of the collection...
the asking price is higher so I can be beaten down!!
It is also reflective of where it's value probably is...
and also helps calm she who must be obeyed...hey..if it doesn't sell...I tried honey
