Nice 504, Dishaka. Thanks for showing us a little of your world. I notice you drive on the wrong side of the road over there.

Don't worry about the rust. I see you have treated it on the outside......have you squirted anything inside these places ?
Where it is possible, many people here put high melting-point grease inside rust places after they have been patched up....it will then not rust EVER again. But where you can't do that, squirt some fish oil inside. But only after you have completed everything else.

Sorry if I am telling you something you know already.

Hi, Dishaka. You have chosen a good car. If you can access parts, you can keep your 504 running for a very long time. Best wishes for your work on the Peugeot This site is a good resource. Your English is better than my non-existing Serbian. All I know is 333.

Very tidy. Did you apply the chrome yourself? Is it a painted application?

dishaka, this is an interesting, but unknown object to me. I am sure there are many contributors to the site who know what it is. Your English is good and very understandable, so please do not reply in Serbian, as I am an older person and confused enough. There are many French Peugeot car clubs on the internet that can help with parts. If you explain that you are not a native English speaker, I am sure they will reply in English. Best of luck with the 504, they are superb cars.

oh, dishaka, never apologise to me. I, too was attempting humour. I was not offended by your comment. Sometimes jokes do not translate easily. Never mind, since you are working on a 504, your comments and reports are always appreciated by me. I owned a 504 GL when I was working in New Zealand and it was the epitomy of the 'Toulouse Tractor". Parts were hard to find, but I never really needed any. Good luck with your car.

The language barrier was quite tricky. Yes, I am sorry for that... but in each foreign country, that's the problem ...
