Default 406 HDI 2 liter 2002 Bleeding Water from Diesel

Hi, how can I bleed the Diesel on my Engine. The warning light sometimes comes on for about one minute.
On my previous 405 it was easy, but on this one it has to many switches and other staff on the fuel filter.
    Thank you
    Veels

If you have an in tank pump, disconnect fuel filter inlet and use start switch to control pump to bleed, othersie use the primer bulb similarly, lot harder though!

    406 has a in-tank pump if I'm correct.
there is a drain cock/water sensor combination at the bottom of the filter housing facing the front.
Take of the wiring plug and open the drain a few turns and then turn the ignition on the the electric pump will push the water that's trapped in the bottom of the housing out.
Alternatively you could open the drain and take one of the fuel lines of the top and the filter housing will drain out (probably less messy this way) and then cycle the ignition once everything has been reconnected to re-prime the system.
