    Default 308cc door mirror

Can anyone advise on the possible problem with my 308cc drivers door mirror. The glass has flopped forward and is loose in the housing?
I can push it back in but in works loose again faintly quickly.
My guess is that the glass has worked loose from a fixing on the positioning motor.
What is the best way to access the internals of the mirror and does anyone know what I will find when I get access?
Any advice or help would be appreciated.
    cheers

I'd suggest looking on Fleabay UK for pictures of the mirror glass, as used parts. Some sellers will show front and rear photos, this ought to help you work out where to attack the fixing from.

Be advised there will be a pair of heating wires clipped to the glass back.

Cheers for the quick reply Addo,
I had a look on eBay and it looks like the glass is just clipped in place indicating that there might be issues with the plate that holds the glass.
Can anyone confirm this before I go pushing and pulling the glass and possibly causing more damage!

can any one please confirm if the glass is just pressed onto a set of clips to hold it in place? Is there any trick to easily removing the glass?
