    Default 307CC Auto Transmission

It looks like I need to replace the auto transmission in my 2008 307CC. I'm not sure whether I will go for a reconditioned unit or a new one. Can anyone recommend a good source of reco'd units and/or new ones? I'm pretty sure the dealer mechanic will want to charge the proverbial arm and leg. Both I and the car are in Sydney.

    All may not be lost.

You could try talking to McGraw Transmissions on Parramatta Rd at Croydon.

Follow-up question, if I may. Does anyone know the brand and model of the auto transmission fitted to the 307CC? I have been trawling all over the web looking for this info with no success as yet.

Is it the ZF AL-4, as fitted to many other 2.0L PSA cars? If so, is it a specific version of the AL-4?

It's the Semens AL4. There wasn't any involvement by ZF in this gearbox.
