Default Peugeot Service Manuals for the 205

    Hi all,

Does anyone know of the existance of original peugeot manuals floating around for the 205?

I've got an auto elec. that doesn't want to touch the pug w/out them as he is aware that they can be fickle beasts..

    Thanks
    Justin

you could pick up a haynes manual on ebay uk just search for somone willing to send it internationaly. otherwise make a stop off at your local peugeot dealer and about $50 later you'll have a brand new haynes manual

i've asked peugeot and you can't get them anymore - they're only available on microfiche and to print a copy on paper from one of those would cost you a pretty penny - and that's assuming someone would lend you such a valuable, irreplaceable item.

haynes is good enough! i did an engine conversion using haynes 205, 405 and citroen bx wiring diagrams from their manuals - i am an electronic engineer - is that good enough approval?

    good luck!

    Hi Mate,

Cool.. that means that an auto elect would be able to cope w/ the haynes manual... he was crapping on about wanting 'peugeot' manuals..

    thanks

Does the new Haynes 205 manual cover the power steering and air-conditioning updates for 205?

My dad currently has the 1983-1988 manual.

I presume that the updated versions .. like this one :

will give him the extra detail he needs?

    Justin,
Join the Peugeot Club of NSW. They should be able to help with these and other things. What's that you say? You are a member, good for you.

Alternatively, strike up a friendship with a Peugeot mechanic who was on the scene when the 205 came out. If he has moved on to a better paying job, [wouldn't be hard to do], he may part with his unwanted Pug Service School literature.
