Default Replacement Fuel Filters 504 TI ?

    Hi All,

I have done a search on the forum to try and answer my question, but hope the TI experts may be able to help -

The main fuel filter / water trap has a small Purflux filter code C113. Looking at the Purflux site, it appears that this type was discontinued in 2013. Does anyone know of a suitable replacement? EAI couldn't offer any suggestions.

    Thanks,

Does it require replacing? Pull it out you may be surprised how clean it is. The rear line filter usually collects all the crap and they often clog (The only spare I carry for my Ti is a line filter).

I have only replaced the water trap filter in my Ti "ONCE" in 40 years!!!!

Thanks BIGRR & Robmac for the useful advice.

As I had no idea when the previous owner had checked the filters, I have changed the rear filter, and was trying to cautiously follow the owners manual which recommends replacing both fuel filter cartridges at 15,000 kms.

On checking ebay France, a seller "tealmaxlion2012" sell a reproduction of the filter Peugeot part no. 1906.03 & 1906.10 or Purflux C113 which according to the (after market) workshop manuals supposedly is the correct main filter. The cost is about 19 euros.
