Default 406 sedan - Auto to Manual conversion

Has anyone done this conversion and what roughly might be involved in terms of costs? How about electric issues / other gremlins to consider? Love to buy a 406 HDI, but but all accounts it MUST be a manual. interested in what others have experienced with this conversion.

Assuming D9, you might want to consider buying a manual ECU/BSI/dash rather than just blindsiding the ECU as can likely be done with a D8 era car. It would run with an auto ECU, just not sure whether it would compromise the abilities.

Expect small differences in the heatshield below the shift lever, plus you will need to research the clutch master and piping.

Wouldn't want to pay a garage to do the conversion on hourly.
