    Default 406 Front Seat Removal

The base on the drivers seat of my '03 406 has broken at the front right corner. I figure that disconnecting the battery and unplugging the seat belt tensioner and side airbag connectors before unbolting and removing the seat is the way to go. Is this all that's required to make sure that the explosive bits don't go off in my face?

Just unplug them; no need to disconnect the battery.

Stephen just in case have someone filming. The prize from 'Funniest home videos' should easily cover the repair bill....if not You Tube could do with a dose of Euro Car Whoops.

ps Those seat frames are very thin gauge and possibly high strength steel, take care with heat input.
