    Default Imported Pug Compliance Assessment

Anyone know someone that can assess imports for compliance that is in Brisbane? My GTI6 arrives in a few weeks and I need an assessor to review the vehicle so that I can apply for a Personal Import Compliance Plate.

As it is a personal import I do not have to strictly meet the ADR's I just need a certificate that the car is roadworthy and meets basic safety criteria. For those of you that are interested the rules for personal imports are as follows.

This scheme allows a vehicle to be imported as a personal import without proof that it meets the ADRs, but the vehicle is expected to provide a level of safety similar to Australian vehicles.

I should have done this early but have been unbelievably busy. I want to get this car on the road as soon as possible.

    Thanks in advance.

See John Palmer ( John Palmer Motors I think) at 6 Holden St Woolloongabba. He is a pug person that also does Mod Plates and roadworthies. Sorry, I don't know the number.
