    Default 406 ST Thermostat

I was hoping someone can recomend a sourse for a reliable thermostat.
I have replaced the device twice in the past 18 months and they only last about 6 months before the engine is slow to warm up and never reaches the specified operating temperature, unless stationary.
The devices I have fitted were Quinton Hazell from EAI, Dapco offered Sasic but given my experience with their suspension parts, I hesitated.
Its not the gauge, because the fan always starts at the same point.

G'day Graeme, I looked at a "presumed genuine" one I pulled out years ago, it's Calorstat brand. Built like a brick dunny, too. Temp stamping is 83.

Do we know of any other options other than EAI and Dapco?

Accessoires Midi L'orient. Buy a few bits to spread the €35 postage over.
