Icon7 Removal In Situ: 306-Xsara-Partner-Berlingo Rack

I simply want to know, is it possible/practical/stupid to remove the rack without dropping the subframe for more clearance? Kenny, James, Cameron G - any of you guys tried this at work?

Of course, I don't have to (just replacing inner and outer tie rods) but it would be a good chance to ensure the affected areas are clean and otherwise in good order.

    Thanks, Adam.

I've removed racks out the back and out the side and I've always had to drop the subframe (306 & Xsara).

Newer stuff you can get the racks out with just the rear of the subframe lowered. But 306/xsara/partner/205 is really tight in that area. You know yourself its only another 10mins work, and that way like you said give everything a good clean.

Cheers, gents. I'll put it off a week and drop the subframe next weekend.
