Another persons observations.

The updates are:
Black is now metallic.

All cars have GTi rear bumpers and GTi headlights.

The exhaust on the lesser models curves down so it doesn't stick out the hole in the rear bumper (opportunity for dealers to sell more Devil mufflers).

Standard accessory mud flaps no longer fit.

Rear GTi bumper looks out of place on car with 14" wheels.

XR & XT still have black bumper and door bump strips.

All cars now have GTi interior door handles (satin chrome).

Glovebox handle is satin chrome to match door handles.

Instruments are now black - as they once were in '99 & '00 - with the CC having a bevelled silver painted surround the same as 307

Grill is honeycomb with thin chrome strip (looks like crap IMHO - guaranteed to get full of bugs) along bottom edge. The new grill looks better on the lesser models due to the smaller opening.

Rear lights like 307, round indicator, brake, reverse behind red lens.

Rear hatch handle is long without built in badge.

Badge is Lion like 307 (smaller) and sits above handle and below window. IMHO looks worse than original.

New blue interior of lesser models. Looks terrible in Diablo cars.

I just took delivery of a new 2004 206 GTi. And I have to say it is finished of a lot cleaner than the 2003. The black instruments with silver surrounds look fantastic. The honeycomb grill looks really racy, and the whole car is coloured coded, no black bumpers. Very smart looking!

Oh no! Please take the image out of your sig, it's just not needed. Take a look at some american car forums just to see how this shouldn't happen.

Rhys - Thats awesome that you have an MY04 spec car, it's odd that Peugeot Aus have released it with nary a press release. Let us know what you think of it!

It's really a 2003 model release ... the rest of the world got these changes a while ago. Your actual build would have been April or May 2003.
Compliance date does not equal build date.
