    Default 406 1.8 16V (Normal Operating Temperature)

Can someone please answer this question?

What is the normal operating temperature for a Peugeot 406 1.8 16V with XU7JP4 engine (110 hp).

I want to know at which temperature the low speed electric fans should cut in and at which temperature they should stop?

It's not an engine that came fitted to the 406 in Australia, however it was fitted to other vehicles, like the 306 and Xsara.

There is a page at Peugeotlogic that explains the 306 system reasonably well, though I'm not sure if the numbers are the same for hot weather climates.

Thanks a lot for your answer.

I read there that low speed fans should turn on and turn off between 90 - 97 degrees.
In my car, low speed fans turn on @ 89 degrees and turn off @ 82 degrees.
    My thermostat is 83 degrees.

    Is it normal?
