    Default Peugeot 406

    Has anyone here maxed there 406 1.816v top speed? If so what did they get?

    I don't think Australia got the 1.8L 406s. I think the smallest engine we got was the 2.0L 4 cyl (but I'll happily be proved wrong).

    That's correct and, of course, we would never endorse such behaviour on a public road outside of the Northern Territory.

    One of your fellow countrymen allegedly managed to squeeze 406 mph (653km/h) out of one.

    Well...so says one of your speed cameras and The Sun. Makes our 100 mph Datsun 120Y seem rather boring!

    Yeah, that one too. 807mph, the sonic boom would far more annoying than a ricer driving pass with a noisy exhaust and doof doof music going.
