This little frog just sold for 41,000 Euros. Not sure if it was double the estimate, anyway

I imagined mine was worth about that much, I now think it might be closer to $1500

Have I missed something - have you crashed yours Robert? I'm quite happy to offer you $1500 for yours if you're selling...

Why wouldn't you take it off the trailer, give it a wash and get the photos up the right way? Pretty lazy, probably paid very little for it and out to make a quick buck.

A wash would uncover all the dents and paint fade. It is tempting but it'll need a respray straight off the bat.

No before. This is why I say personally, because I would paint it myself.
The challenge in the whole process is just securing a fundamentally good S3 with lowish Ks, and in Miami blue! gold people!

So you'll be bidding then Ash??

I agree that if you want "the perfect" 205 you've got to make it yourself - and Miami is my favourite colour.

That car will also need a new dash as it's clear that the section where the lower dash mounts to is toast, and the leather on those front seats looks like it's likely to be hardened and have to be replaced. I think seats are almost the hardest part on a 205 these days. But if you were looking to make a really nice car and accept that the total work and cash involved still may not make rational sense, that car looks like it could be a great base.

So do we lay bets what it will go for?

Some seem to be treating this car a little harshly, I feel. Looks a real gift at present bidding. But 6 days to go and at least two already showing interest, suggests final price could be far from the present
one. My bet is $6250. What is yours ? Richard..🤫

I was going to guess $5k, but if a tired s2 sold quickly at that price then maybe I am undershooting.

Looks like a nice car most likely abandoned by its previous owner and found by someone who doesn't know much about them, but knows enough to try to make a quick buck from it. Or maybe they got it for next to nothing so anything is profit.

Either way, it is more honest to pop it on ebay than "fix" it and ask a stash of money for a dog. what you see is what you get.

Were it closer, I would definitely bid on it. My guess it will end up at about 4k tops this time around and we'll see it soon back on the market for 12k "restored" (i.e. off the trailer).

Richard, if I buy one more 205 then all of them will be for sale due to divorce proceedings....
I hope a frogger gets this car and realises it could be worth a serious packet one day if properly restored. $8K is my punt

Only up to 2470, the Teal Blue 504 on Ebay is up to $6200, looks like a ripper of a car and well presented.
