Yes, look like a very clean example.

If the engine/suspension (trailing arms) have had some maintenance over recent years then the price is probably in the ball park... if a little high.

Surely you have an anorak to match each interior, how else would you drive the green car?!

Yes, not unusual for a set of pepper pots to sell for around that.

Well that's the second oldest AU one I have seen... another one with a Jun 87 build date and a serial number that would suggest its an AM87 vintage... just.

Methinks if he wants $20K firm, then he needs to provide more pics and more details.

With so so much missing it'd make a great race car.

These are thin on the ground, worth saving and by Holden/Ford standards won't send you broke.
I see some of the crap people have on trailers going home and not to the tip.

The record prices in Europe are for extremely low kms cars.

I think the answer is all of the above! Fun, investment, people buying the cars they appreciated when they were younger and now having the time and/or funds.

I bought one new and then 2nd hand 25 years later! Love that instant torque and amazing handling.

Regarding M3s, I think that E36s are reasonably available and sold well in Australia. E30 M3s are all private imports and very rare and pricey and all came out of the factory LHD.

Sorry, I was reading the forum on my phone and I was looking at the original posts for this topic that are very, very old.

Apologies. I will take an aspirin and have a lie down!
