    Well done to all concerned, 1:07.7 far exceeded my expectations. Exceptional really.

    Well done Parry. You must be stoked.

    That vid reminded me of the battles between Manton & Smith in their Cooper S's up against the Yankee V8 muscle of Geoghegan, Moffat & Beechey way back when I was a little tacker.

    With the car still on blocks, that ain't going to happen I'm afraid.

    Good news is that it is booked in for a whole new exhaust system Friday week!!

    Credit where credit is due in the driving department as well...car doesn't drive itself and it appears to be a pretty quick combination so well done.....

    Excellente !! Parry. That track doesnt have that many corners by the look where the wee beastie would really come into its own against those big brutes :}
    Did anyone notice the big dust whirly in the carpark to the left at about minute 5?

    A quick car, but modified beyond IPRA rules. It is still a quick car that handles, and is driven well though.

    There is a very modified 205 Sports sedan in QLD, running RWD and I think a Nissan SR20 Turbo. Not much 205 left though. Saw it maybe 6 months ago at QLD Raceway at its first practice outing.

    That was epic! My favourite parts were 5:20, 7:07 & 8:19.

    Did I sense a slight miss into a corner on your fastest lap? So potentially even faster. Watching it was like on fast forward.

    Super impressive Parry.

    With the data logging in the car you can piece together the best lap of all the sectors. If Parry got it corrrect and all together for one lap it would have been in the 1.06 bracket.

    The car is not that far off the IPRA rules. The bonnet, rear hatch, front wishbones and top of dash are all that is really missing

    Adrian, last night I merged the data with last years session where I did the 1:11 in the 8V and on fresh slicks. The combined theoritical best came up as a 1:05:2, the 8V on fresh rubber was quicker in turn 4 and 5 by 1 sec...

    Yes overshot the fish hook under brakes and lost almost a second as seen on the data logger. I am now running a pedel box with no booster, the brake feel, once you get used to it, is unbelievable. First time I have been able to pull 1G under braking. The only issue was after 4 hard laps, the Ferado DS2500 were starting to overheat and lose retardation, the pedal was still good but just would not slow down enough. They were over heating as the DS2500 are really a fast road pad.

    I have on order from Japan now some Project Mu pads that operate between 300deg and 800deg and have higher friction, so that should help my confidence under brakes and improve laptimes. Not cheap though over 500 retail.

    BTW: I am running 307HDI front calipers
