    Update,

    So there has been some progress today, firstly I retrieved the BE3 box from storage (and removed from a 205 Si Motor).

    The pedals and clutch cable are in, this as has already been stated was a prick of a job, getting the plastic link to stay on the pedal is not easy! It probably took 2 hours all up to get the clutch cable in and routed and the pedals changed over, still have a couple of minor finishing off jobs to do on the pedals tomorrow, I was sick and tired of laying upside down in the foot well today!

    Clutch and flywheel are in and the auto shifter is removed, as soon as the linkages and bits turn up from Graham Wallis I'll be able to get them in and set about buttoning the whole thing up.

    [QUOTE=Pug_405_Mi16;1214282]Update,

    The pedals and clutch cable are in, this as has already been stated was a prick of a job, getting the plastic link to stay on the pedal is not easy!

    The easiest way to do this is to (sorry) pull the padal axle bolt out and feed the pedal onto the link. (I found out after standing on my head in the sun for about 2 hours)

    Thanks Graham!

    Thanks BigR, I did have the pedals out to put the cable on, still a bit of a pain getting everything lined up and put back it without bits jumping off it! Still a couple of hours and it's in and all done up and finished, wasn't easy getting the cable through the firewall either with the engine in place.

    Hello All,

    Thought I'd just close this thread out, the conversion has gone well, all in all a very straight forward job.

    Didn't really have any issues along the way apart from accessing some tight spots.

    Anyway, very happy with the whole thing, it makes a nice new daily!

    Thanks everyone who provided advice along the way.
