    suitable alloys for a 306?

    hi
still negotiating purchase of a 306... it's on nasty steel wheels, but I've been offered a cheap set of after market alloys that were on a BX. They are 14x6, with 4.5" offset... is this right for a '96 306, and if so, any prob fitting 185/60/14s? Can anyone advise what other Pug/Cit models have correct stud pattern and offset for the 306. I may look at fitting new wheels to my BX16v, and using the 16v alloys on the Pug, but they might not look that good, anyone care to comment? Many thanks!

I know 205 wheels fit onto 306's (Maybe 405 wheels as well? not sure.) and vice versa, but not sure about the cit wheels

Check the measurement of the stud pattern. Make sure it matched that of your 306 and your right. If you haven't got time to look throught your manual then call Cit and ask what the measurement of their stud pattern is then call Pug and see if it matches. All the best with your new Pug.

    ... so would XSARA rims.

You need to make sure your stud pattern is right 108mm
    and
    PCD offset is correct 15~22mm
The offset can be changed from the 206 307 pugs using the spacers but it loads up you bearings, can cause rubbing on guards and you MUST lengthen the stud bolts.

    Good luck with the purchase.

Yes, but 306 wheels on a 205 would look better

I rekon that the Ouregon (206 GTI) wheels look good on the 306... there's one guy here in Melb with a S16 with 17 inch Ouregons and it looks quite TUFF.
