    Default 406 workshop manual?

    I am after a 406 WM
There are several available on eBay on disc from the UK
Can any one advise which are the better ones?
    Thanks

In most instances they are copies of the Haynes manuals. Make sure you get a manual suitable to your model, primarily either D8 or D9

They don't look like Haynes to me
Any clues on the ones that aren't Haynes?

I have a spare Haynes for the D9. It's brand new. It's in the UK

For free 406 (D9 only) workshop manual (1999-2002 Haynes manual), find it here and download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/huhlych0yn...l%20haynes.pdf But you will need Dropbox to down load it. Please, note that the V6 engine (ES9J4S) engine wiring diagram is excluded from the workshop manual. But the XU series, EW series (excluding EW12) and HDI engines are covered, including their wiring diagrams. But the workshop manual covers other parts for D9.

    Thank you
I will look for something other than Haynes
They are to be used only when there is nothing else

What else are you looking for? There is an early factory manual CD getting about (it has 206 and 406 on it), but I certainly wouldn't pay for it, as it's not a "legal" one. I say early because it's been many years since they were distributed on CD/DVD. It's an online affair, these days.

It's called "Repair Peugeot 206-406 multi language.ISO" (or similar), if that helps.
    Regards,
