Default Been playing with my cutter tonight......

I bought an old Roland Vinyl Cutter ages ago. Thought I'd have a play with it again tonight. When the perspex fascia on the rear door departed life, I drew up the logo in CAD but never got around to producing it.

Didn't really turn out the way I though it would. Scale is 1:1 as per the perspex plate but it looks like it needs enlarging. I'll leave it on for a few days and see if it grows on me. It's only a trial effort as I still need to finish painting it anyway.20131013_210821_327543_thumbnail.jpg20131013_211414_245434_thumbnail.jpg20131013_212000_266444_thumbnail.jpg

Yeah I rate it. Has potential at least. Is it just a sticker?

I was thinking of drawing up 205 badges in solidworks and getting them 3D printed at Uni...

Yes just a sticker. 3d badges would be cool though

Looks good. Something different but retains the 'official' font and styling of Peugeot badging from that era.

Looks good, but where's your hatch release? if you've removed that for a smooth look, maybe that's what makes the spacing look slightly different to original. If anything, I'd make the lettering a little bolder than original.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. It seems to be lost without the perspex. I don't need to go larger letters, just a bolder line. I could also try it with a border around the edge of the fascia.

... Even a much bigger 205GTI across the entire width without the Peugeot.

    ...Keep playing.
