    Default 307 HDI 2lt Wagon. 2007 Manual

Hi, getting close to replacing tyres. Have been using Goodyear Assurance. Have replaced them a couple of times, as they were fitted from when we bought car. Has anyone have any suggestions/experience for good allrounders or stay with what we have?

Have fitted Michelin Pilot Sport 3's to our 308 SW and love them.

Same price as Jap/Korean brands too, in a 16" size.

I bought a second hand car with Goodyear Assurance fitted and found them terrible! I was having vibration problems and found that they were all out of round. I threw them away and fitted Yokohama C Drives which are excellent. We have them on 2 of our cars. Michelins are great but a little dearer.

My 2006 307 HDi Touring came with Goodyear NCT5s and I hated them. Harsh ride and poor performance in wet conditions. Have been using Pirelli P7s which were fitted as original on some 307s (not mine unfortunately) and been happy with them.

Lots of joy with PS3's and ContiSport3 as well. My local Jax had a deal on a few months back that not only gave a good price, but a $100 gift card as well.

    Cheers

If you have the 2007 307 2lt HDI limited edition Oxygo like I have then they come with 17" wheels the tyres are 205-50-17 I am very pleased with the Kuhmo Ecsta SPT KU31 I got for $105 each fitted and balanced from Bob Jane, they matched and bettered Tempe Tyres price.
The Kuhmo's are very quiet so far at 15000km have worn well, good grip wet or dry, being 50 series they have a firm ride.
The only down side which is minor, is that they are very directional to the road camber, and will drift either left or right if you take your hands off the wheel, if the road camber goes that way, if the road is flat they go straight ahead. I think they are the best value for money out there.
I think you can get them also for the smaller 16" or 15" wheels

    Cheers George
