Default Anyone tracked a 406SV manual?

    0-100's are similar to 206GTI180.
    Heavier but higher torque.
I remember driving a 2 litre 406 on the down hill run from Bright to Mt Beauty and the handling was sublime, and thinking it needed extra power.

The only downsides I can see is no LSD, and changing engine capacity classes.

The 'Tawonga Gap' run is well known for picking up the faults in a vehicle. Me Old Mazda RX4, mit many suspension modifications, could hold off a turbo 260Z through the corners going up, the problem was I had 140 BHP and he much more so as soon as a straight pass was there he was gone. The downhill really does check the 'package' of the driver. You brake HARD and only JUST enough to make each corner, this ain't no tourist drive when your involved in an Alpine Rally back in the '80/90's'! Then again dodging the dinosaurs was the hardest part. Brendan.

I've thought about it. If the pug club was gunna run deca this year (sadly they didn't) I would have tried the v6. Biggest problem is a crap hand brake for the motorchana
