    Default 604 windows in a 504?

Has anyone ever tried fitting 604 door windows in a later model 504?

The 604 doors I'm about to throw away have windows with a nice greeen tint on them, and if the size matches, I'm tempted to swap them.

I would have to get the back window tinted to match.

No, they are a different shape. Though I have a feeling that 604 shares the windows with the 504 wagon....

Nope- 604 glass is unique- the windscreen is at a shallower angle than 504. Part numbers are different. front door skin is same P/N as 504

The electric window winders will swap over into late 504 doors though. Keep the mirrors if still fitted and the handles etc.

Ahh, so the 604's roofline is perhaps slightly lower (or flatter?) than the 504 sedan, whereas the 504 wagon is taller, so the glass is higher at the back.
