Default O Joy Unspeakable - $320 to spend - ideas please.

    Hi.

Performed the 100,000km A service on the OWMBO 307 2 Lt HDi Auto last week. Just needed Oil & Filter. I have have put in a claim in money or kind for the labour content of the service. Only charged her $320.00 Oil & filter allready sitting in shed for couple of months now.

What do you think my chances are of my claim being honoured?

Let me see, whats on the list:
    • Forty sleeves of Nespresso coffee.
    • Two case of nice red wine, maybe a mixed red dozens of the nice dry Italian reds like temparinillo, Dolcetto, and the rest in Cab Sav and Shiraz.
    • Two tickets to a Melbourne theatrical performance, and dinner prior!
    • Any other ideas?

By the way I am still waiting on the payment in kind for the last skilled work performed in fitting new front disc rotors and pads. I only claimed $450 then, I thought it was pretty reasonable?

What am I doing wrong?? She mumbled something about meals, washing, groceries, lunches. Can see what the problem is.

By the way I only put in the 5Lt of Penrite DL1, 5W-30. Still have the litre container left of the Enviro+ 0W-40 from last time. Dip stick was only 3 mm below full mark within a 23mm band, Low to High. Specs call for 5.25Lt.

Also checked the mass air flow sensor in inlet plenum and covered in oil again, doesnt seem to make that much difference though. I would like to know where the oil is coming from.

Ok, Ok, point taken. Allright - I promise that I will put my dishes in the diswasher and not leave them in the sink, and I will make the bed if I am the last one up, and I will cook the dinner ocasionally. Will that do?

Then I will re present my claim!!!!

the occasional gratuitous hug and "I love you, darling" will likely also show dividends

Apparently no man has ever been shot while doing the vacuuming.

I do iron all my own business shirts, surely that counts for some brownie points? I do was both cars most weekends, and I have repainted a room recently. Must be worth at lease 35 browine points??

Ironing is always worth points as is painting.

Cars, taking rubbish out and mowing the lawn is man work and doesn't not earn no extra Kudos as decreed by the Minister for War and Finance.
