    MI16 plugs and leads.

I feel it might be time to replace the plugs and leads on my 1989 MI16 (XU9J4) as it is missing and coughing. Has anybody had any experience with non genuine items? What brand are the originals? I have been quoted quite a good price on Bosch ones.

Also, has anybody fitted a K&N filter (cone type)to one of these engines and if so, was there a noticable difference?

Any help would be much appreciated.

    Regards

Do yourself a favour DO NOT buy Bosch plugs !!

Get NGK...I cant remember the number for 405, but they...in my opinion are the best plugs for Pugs!
