Removal of front wishbone inner bearing bush

I have poly bushes to replace the collapsed P bushes on my 306's front wishbone's collapsed bushes and need to remove the original inner bushes from the arms. As much as my mongrel wants to attack the bushes with an angle grinder, I suspect I'd make a horrible mess of it with that approach.

I'm thinking of buying a Dremel grinder/ cutter for the task. Does anyone have advice on the best approach???

It's slightly messy, but try cutting a wedge out of the "P" and intermediate rubber, so the tip of your wedge cut just kisses the inner sleeve of the bush.

Now use a sharp cold chisel with the arm supported directly underneath, to complete the cut almost through. If you don't want to hit it, use a hacksaw blade in the grinder-made notch.
