    Default "Bouncing" Central Locking - S1 1992 Mi16

    Hi All,

My key activated central locking (factory) in my Mi16 locks and unlocks itself continuously for about a minute when i unlock the car until it decides it wants to stop, any clues as to a cure for this or where can i disable the central locking completely so i don't lock the bloody keys in the car when it's running again!!

    Cheers

    Anthony

Try unplugging the feeder/signal wires in the front footwells first for the front doors, then the rears.

This happened to my son in his Mi16. He stopped for a pee, left the car running and it locked! A kind motorist lent him a golf stick to smash the side window. Sounds like faulty actuator. Do what Addo says.
