    Default 308 Touring Disc Rotors

    Hi,

We have an 18 month old 308 Turbo (petrol) touring. Firstly, a brilliant car!!
However at 12months old and 12,000 klms we had severe vibrations under braking. The front disc rotors were replaced under warranty.
Now the car is 18 months old and has done 18,000klms and the same vibration is back.
The car is not driven hard and we do not "ride" the brakes.
Has anyone else had any similar issues with the 308?
    Thanks, John

We've two 308's in our family, no problems with brakes at 50,000 and 62,000k's.
Will need some pads sometime soon.

I'm fearing that, with the replacement under warranty, not the correct rotors were placed

the 308 is in fact a 307 and they had the reputation that the brakes almost never faded.

I have a manual tdi touring with 51,000km which is just starting to get the vibrations. I haven't gone easy on the brakes, but I do use the gears a bit when braking.

    Is yours an auto?

Unfortunately, if your 308 rotors are anything like my 306 rotors then welcome to your future. I have found that a change to another brand (in my case DBA) cured the problem.
So sad that our respected Peugeot seems to have lost the ability to produce a non-warping rotor.

My first hdi c4 had the same problem, dealer manager adised that I had driven in large pools of rain as a result warped rotors NO Warranty it was my fault, needless to say all hell broke out they gave me a loan car and replaced the front rotors, the C4 was less than 12 months old.
