    Default mi 16 head.

    hi guys .tryng for the last two weekend to unbolt the head of mi 405 mi16 wat is the bolts size ? do i need a special tool ? i realy have to get it out ! have got to get read of the car.

    if it's still the oringinal it should be a T55 torx bit. Some of the after market ones are an inside out torx bit I think there M something.

    If you buy the set from trade tools which is good quality and cheap have a good close look at the set . When I did mine the set I purchased had the 55 but was unsuitable for use with socket set so had to buy second set to tighten up head bolts.

    T55 SnapOn. The 1/2" is best, but you'll have to turn down the outside diameter so it fits down the holes. If you go the cheap tool route, you're likely to bugger a bolt up and get yourself into more trouble. Use a 600mm breaker bar and you'll have no trouble, undoing, or tensioning up the new bolts.
