Default Sums up my 205 really...

...she's a high maintenance hellcat that tests my patience daily but hey...

Couldn't resist turning around for a photo when I drove past this place in the Adelaide Hills on Sunday.

Bit naughty with the headlights but was home well before dark. It was French Car Day in Adelaide after all.

Silver definitely looks old school. Many of the press cars back in the early days were silver as well as the brochure cover car.

Cool! Great choice of wheel. What springs do have in the front? I'm torn between staying original height or fitting some of the 15s and dropping it a bit. I drive on a lot of chopped up roads though.

Afraid that's a trick of the light there (or shade). Trim is original grey but has three coats of grey Plasticare so in low light it looks pretty dark. This photo shows the grey better.

Gezza you must surely hold the record for the highest number of 205 GTi driven by one person.

Nice car, would love to check it out one day - I didn't even know about the french car day! Keep it standard height and keep the 14's - I'm one of the few who think they look just as good as the 15's, particularly on your car!

I love Pepperpots. On a std 205 I like them more than the 15s. You have a little less grip so you have more fun.

Leave it dude. It looks so nice as it is.

Bought a couple of sets of them on ebay (Aust) a while back.
Have been looking for another set for the red Si.

I can't take credit for the appearance of my GTi , a previous owner did/had all the work done.
88lp s is looking much neater.
Only addition I have made is to fit a rear sway bar.
Very controversial move that one but it set the car up nicely for sprint days.

Jeez not sure about that mate, yours looks sweet as. Original headlight covers. Mucho jealous.

Doesn't show in the photos but I need to get a PDR guy over for a few hours this summer to rid some parking dents and annoying little ripples in the doors. Never owned a car with such thin panels as the 205. Every time I wash the bonnet it sounds like Rolf Harris' wobble board.

Absolutely love the look of the Speedlines and drop but this thread has convinced me to stick with what I have for now. Cheers all.

Even a humble Si looks good on pepperpots.
Shame the little bugger refuses to start at the moment.
