    Default C5 Wheel Bolts

Just got some C5 rims to try on the 205. I'm presuming now that I will need to use the matching C5 wheel bolts as well.

    I'm after 16

Get online and check www.niceproducts.com.au they have an awesome catalogue and you can match those bolts straight from their listing. Don't know about the length, but they look exactly the same as I use on the front end of my 405 with aftermarket wheels and 30mm spacers.

The factory C5 wheel bolts have a captive conical washer. You want them to stop the aluminium galling when you tighten the bolts. Anyone wrecking an early C5 with the black painted alloy rims will have a set. Or try a dealer, but they are quite expensive new.

there about $16 each from citroen. i got mine from a dealership in vic, a nice chap had a box full of them and was happy to give me some. definately need the proper ones or will damage the seats with normal wheel studs.

For a wheel bolt like this, with no "dowel section" like the bolts on a 306 / 405 etc, the only thing to watch out for is the angle of the seat and the major diameter. If your bolts have a 19mm hex and a 25mm long M12x1.25 thread, the Nice part number is NR428 (with a 60 degree seat). I bought mine through Autobarn and they cost a lot less than has been indicated via the dealers...
