Default Wtd '74 DS Bootlid and rear door glass.

I am looking for a boot lid, complete boot lid stays, and a R/H rear door glass. For DS Special 1974.

A quick tip = after Wtd in the title, give people a hint. eg

    Wtd - DS bootlid

Also, apart from the surface the printing is on, left and right windows on Ds are interchangeable as they have the same profile and are flat. So a left rear galss will fit a right rear door.

Yes, the glass is the same shape, but you'd have to change the runner on the bottom, which are sided and probably a challenge to remove.

The runner is subtly different inside and out. After confusing myself, the simplest way to tell is to look at where the two 8mm head bolts go at each end. The outside is the side with the nut welded on.

Anyone from WA? It's a long way from the East Coast.

    Fixed your thread title

Good luck with the boot lid, I gave up finding a rust free lid in Aus and bought second hand out of France (ebay), surprisingly not overly expensive even with the shipping.

    Cheers

The Déesse has all the characteristics of one of those objects fallen from another universe that fed the mania for novelty in the eighteenth century and a similar mania expressed by modern science fiction: the Déesse is first and foremost the new Nautilus.

Thanks David - forgot about changing the runner. It's a long time since that mongrel smashed my driver's window to break into the car to steal all my tools.

    Hello,
I just gave two complete back doors from a 74 D Special to Loudel if you contact him he might be willing to pass one one to you.

They are in Sydney so freight might be a problem getting them to you.

    Cheers
