    Default Cheap 404 parts!

    Hi everyone,

For some silly reason, I've just bought this 404:

    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....m=130689510697

Sometime in the next few weeks, I'll make my way down there and strip the parts off it that I need, leaving the rest to go to Sims.

So, I have a plan. Since I got the car so cheap, I can't exactly charge much for any parts that I sell off it. So here's the idea: If anyone wants any parts in particular, write me a list, and I will pull them from the car.

The cost? Well, I think being that since I'll be working in a paddock, potentially in the rain, potentially in the scorching sun, potentially being eaten by snakes, a rate of $100 per hour seems fair.

So, if it takes me an hour to remove the engine and gearbox, that will cost you $100. If you want a door handle that takes 2 minutes to remove, it will cost 2 / 60 * 100 = $3.33. If you want a seat, it might take 15 minutes to remove, so 15 / 60 * 100 = $25. Get the idea?

Now, for the good bit. Since I'm in Brisbane, and the car is in Southern NSW, I'll be driving down via Sydney, so, if you're not too far off my course, I am happy to drop off whatever you need, at no extra charge.

Register your interest early, first names down for particular bits will get them!

Brake Calipers, backing plates behind the discs. Don't need the discs themselves.

Obviously I will pay shipping to melb. Not in any rush whatsoever

    Cheers!

Ummm, sorry Wombat, I should have mentioned the parts that I'm keeping!

I bought the car specifically to get the front brakes, rear axle and universal joint. So those bits aren't for sale!

Hahaha, no worries, I don't really need 'em, was just going to stack them away.

    All good

If the discs are cactus, or you need caliper kits, I might be able to help

    Default Robbo weather

Just today Robbo is bathed in sunshine with a light zephyr. Great run down and up the pass on the Duke.
