    Hi All

As the title says, I was replacing teh brushes in my starter motor and I managed to break the bakelite brush holder.

Was wondering does any one have one they are willing to part with or know where I can obtain one.

Try cleaning up the bits and then glue them together with RapidFix.

I tried that Roland with super glue, I was amazed that I managed to get the two bits to stick together.

I managed to reassemble the starter motor and it tested o.k. on the bench.

I then put it in the car and tested it there but it works sometimes so i guessing the holder has broke and the spring is not supplying enough pressure on the brushes.

Will remove starter tomorrow and have a look at the brush holder.

I have managed to find a holder on ebay but its in the good ol USA but was hoping to get one locally just to save a bit of time.
