    Default WTD 505 BA10/5 Gearbox

    Hi,

I'm looking for a complete gearbox and bell housing. Pick up in Brisbane region if possible.

(Another 504 5 speed conversion project on the cards!)

    Thanks Adrian,

I will consider freighting one from interstate also if nothing turns up locally, but worth trying for the easiest option first?

It seems that NSW and VIC usually have a greater source of used Pug bits than QLD!

What sort of $ are you looking for?

    Regards,

    Neil

    Default Gearboxes available.

Folks I have both BA7/5 and 10 Available. What type of engines are you wanting these to suit?

    Hi Neil,

If you haven't already sourced your gear box I have another option that will include the item, that's if it's a BA10. I have an 88 5 speed GTI wagon, which also comes with some other goodies that I've seen nicely transposed into the 504. A beautiful set of unmarked grey cloth seats, power steering, front brakes and struts and the delightful 2.4 FI engine to match the gear box. This wagon has been sitting in my carport for the last three years awaiting an upgrade and re rego, but alas the son can't be unhooked from his third Mk1 Escort. It has to go and after being part of the family for the past 17 years and I would hate to have to call the removal truck to do it. Located at Tinbeerwah, near Tewantin/Cooroy an easy truck trip to Brisbane and the price is moderate if you want to do the restoration instead. Rust free body, but shitty paint as normal for a 24yo pug. (or someone else if you're reading this) New set of boxed headlights too!

    Cheers.

Thanks to those who have offered the BA10/5. It appears that the box I have is not a BA7/5 which I believed, but a BA10/5 after all!
