    Default 205 for sale, maybe.

Rego for my 205 Si road car comes up this week.
I have the dilemma, pay the rego or maybe get the S3 GTi on the road.

The Si is red looks clean and bright, has had timing belt, rear brakes, windscreen, all recently. Needs a replacement driveshaft which will be fitted if sold.
Out of reg obviously. manual, no sunroof.
Asking $500 with 13 inch alloys and Michelins.
$600 with Pepper Pots and well worn C Drives.

The GTi is a very late S3, 1994 model, plastic inlet manifold.
It is in good order mechanically but needs paint on bonnet and hatch, has the odd scrape here or there and a tiny amount of hail damage on the roof. Body is straight with plastic all fitting properly.
Drivers seat needs stiching everything else is good inside.
No major issues for RWC it has had an inspection very few kms ago and most if not all things had been dealt with.
Due to the demand for this model I'm asking $3000, not really a car for those wanting a 205 at minimum expense, either you buy it to restore or for a project or look elsewhere.
Offer only open for a few days and of course will depend on which of the cars get sold first.

Photo shows car in a very dirty state, has since been cleaned up.

Good chance the Si has been sold so no, I'll put the photos of the S3 up after I've painted the hatch and bonnet!
Cheapest S3 around and I've seen worse examples than this go for similar money.

Graham I noticed the radio antenna on the GTi was folded flat.It reminded me of how both my cars arrived with antenna folded flat against the roof with scuff marks in the paint where the tip of the antenna had moved around whilst the cars were on trailer behind truck.
If whichever car that gets sold is to be transported in such a way I would advise either padding under the antenna tip or taping the antenna down to imobilise it. Alternatively remove the antenna.
