Default Wanted - MI16 Inlet manifold

Wanted a very cheap MI 16 inlet manifold - I am going to cut it up for the quads.

    Sydney pick up preferred.

    Hiya mate,

I can't help you with a manifold, but have you thought of making your own? Have a look how this dude is making one - with a standard router!

Don't meen to send you off the path but just a thought.

I have one in Melb. $40 + postage (should be less than $20).

Gloves and machinery is so wrong, but yes, standard router bits are great for cleaning up aluminium.

Spend the money on a good manifold and you will actually make good power. Seriously. Its possibly the most crucial thing to making those motors make any power with quads.

True, but don't write off the potential of the Mi manifold. When my head was rebuilt & gas flowed with & without the quad manifold there was virtually no loss (no more than 5 cfm anywhere) in flow up to 0.500" lift.

    What 'quads' are you using?

I know someone who makes manifolds up to suit quad carbs/throttle bodies. Charges about $350.
