    Default XU10J2TE ( 8valve Turbo ) Motor For Sale

    This is still for sale guys.

    XU10 8 Valve turbo. 150hp. Standard ecu can run 1bar (14psi) which will raise power

    The motor was bought for a 205 GTi conversion. Once again Im heading overseas to visit my girlfriend, lucky this time we are going to Paris and then 2 weeks in a campervan so Ill get plenty of French car prevuing in while Im there. I never thought I would let a woman force me to sell car parts but truth be told I cant hold onto things Im not using!

    Basics are. Its form SA originally. Has covered 167k. Comes complete ( still connected ) ECU and wiring harness. All induction kit ( you will need to purchase an intercooler for about 100$ and piping ) to keep it looking original.

    Also have the XU10 top mount that I will throw in so you can mount it!

    Hi Cam,

    I know the feeling, I am selling off too. However it needed to be done and a new car is coming.. mwahaha

    A few questions, a XU10 8 valve? is that an iron block 1.9L bottom end with a 205 8 valve on top? what turbo is it? Are there standard internals?

    1998 iron block with an 8 valve head, similar to a 205 but, bigger valves and round inlet ports for the NA version.
    Cam would know details for the turbo version.

    Standard internals designed from factory for a turbo. The bottom end is basically the same as a 16v bottom end with stronger rods and lower comp pistons. It would be a fantastic upgrade for a nice road 205 in my view, plenty of torque and not stupid power output to break everything else around it.
