Default 205 Si way to good to wreck

This little 205 is way way to good to chop up. The whole car is straight and in mint condition except a parking lot crack in the rear bar.
Dash is excellent, no cracks and everything fits properly, front bar and headlights are all in very good order.

Its done 240,000 and drive fine, its only problem is that its old and ran out of reg (how dare it do that)

Price as is $800 but Im not selling it to anyone who wants it for parts, its to good to wreck and thats our job anyway.

Its here at 34 King St and can be driven away, in fact I'll be driving it home tonight.

I drove this little car home and back last night it really is a wonderful little thing.

No dash rattles and only a little bit of wind noise from the left door. Little bit of noise from the right driveshaft on full lock with power on.

Rides better than a 307, has better seats than a 307, has more power than a 307 but lets not go there on this post,

Missus has this thing about red cars, not enough that I have 3 205's already.
This one should bring me up to at least 50% ownership of the Far North Qld 205 population.
They were never marketed up here as far as I know.
Time to pollish those Pepperpots stored under the house.

    Default On the Road Again

Little Red passed inspection yesterday and now has Qld plates.
Replaced LH handbrake cable, LH rear wheel cylinder and shoes, LH driveshaft, LH inertia reel and gave it a bit of a scrub up.
Luckily I had a new handbrake cable and the spare car supplied most of the parts.
Fitted some pepperpots with 2 new tyres. Yet to give it a good pollish (Turtle coloured pollish) replace rear bumper and give it a thorough service.
Drives well with the temperature sitting slightly higher ( over half way) than the Silver Si.
Feels solid on the pepperpots, not sure which I prefer, time will tell.
Strangly enough it has the release buttom on the grear selector on the LHS whereas the Silver one has it on the RHS of the T bar.
Hasn't come up too bad. Thanks for saving it David.

    Default Little Red and Stablemates.

    Thanks Jeremy,

Washed all 3 205s and did a photo session today.
205s are great you can wash 3 from the one bucket of suds.
Photos in previous post were taken under overcast conditions, ideal, nice soft lighting.
This afternoon the sun came out and not even the polarizing filter could soften the contrasty lighting.
